We’ve developed the perfect menu this summer of academic enrichment classes combined with an exciting Day Camp Remix program for students who want it all!
Congressional Summer Academy classes are designed for students entering grades 1-9 (current kindergarten-grade 8), and this year, we have added an exciting new feature. Students can begin their day with a morning of enriching academics followed by an afternoon of Day Camp Remix for the perfect blend of learning and summer fun.

When do Summer Academy Classes Run?
There are two two-week sessions that run between June 21- July 15, with an additional for-credit Geometry class that runs from July 18-29. Summer Academy enrichment classes are held from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm. The for-credit classes run from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
What Types of Enrichment Classes are Available?
Classes include STEM (robotics/coding, engineering, and math), World language (Spanish) Language Arts (reading & writing). A full list of classes and descriptions are available online.

Who Teaches Summer Academy Classes?
Classes are taught by Congressional’s exceptional faculty and other highly experienced and well-qualified teachers.
Are the Summer Academy Classes and the Day Camp Remix at the Same Location?
Yes. Both are held at Sleepy Hollow Elementary School, right down the street from the Congressional campus.
Do I Have to Register My Child for Both the Classes and the Day Camp Remix?
No. You can register for a class and add the Day Camp Remix, or you can register for a class on its own. You can also just register for the Day Camp Remix on its own.
What Types of Activities Are Offered in Day Camp Remix?
Day Camp Remix is a small group camp experience with a variety of cooking, art, sports, games, science, free play, and water play activities along with special events. It’s designed to be the perfect add-on to a morning Summer Academy course and runs from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. Lunch and snacks are included.
