Talking to Kids About War

The events happening in Ukraine are unsettling.  Students may see information and images that they may struggle to understand. They may wonder what the events mean for the people of Ukraine, themselves, their families, their communities, and the world.  
 
These recent events in addition to more than two years of navigating fear, loss, and change due to COVID-19,  young people are especially vulnerable.  Following are resources for educators and parents with advice on how to have conversations with children about the events taking place.
